Description

Crunchy crostini spread with tangy goat cheese, topped with lemon-kissed apple slices and a warm drizzle of honey. Each bite delivers a crisp snap, creamy tang, and sweet finish.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French baguette
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 medium apples
  • 4 ounces goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2-inch slices and arrange on a baking sheet.
  3. Brush each slice with olive oil.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden and crisp.
  5. In a bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice.
  6. Spread goat cheese evenly on each crostini.
  7. Top with apple slices.
  8. Drizzle honey over the assembled crostini.
  9. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a crisp apple variety such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith for best texture.
  • Allow goat cheese to come to room temperature for easier spreading.
  • Prepare crostini ahead of time and store in an airtight container to maintain crispness.
  • Drizzle honey just before serving to prevent the crostini from becoming soggy.
