Description

Garlic-infused butter melts over chicken breasts all day, releasing rich aromas and creating a silky sauce that clings to each tender bite. Make it in your crockpot for fuss-free, mouthwatering comfort.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and dried parsley.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Add minced garlic and dot the top of the chicken with butter.
  4. Pour chicken broth over the chicken and garlic.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Remove the cooked chicken and set aside, then stir cornstarch and water together to make a slurry.
  7. Pour the slurry into the crockpot and cook on high for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
  8. Return the chicken to the crockpot, spoon sauce over the top, and serve.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic cloves for the best flavor.
  • Boneless skinless chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for extra juiciness.
  • Adjust salt and seasonings to your taste preferences.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
